How would this look under the pronunciation header:

... because while Vedic used the nominative with a final -स् (-s), Classical Sanskrit turned it into - ः (- ḥ)

These are significant changes and we cannot just put it up as

  • (Vedic) IPA(key): /bʱɑ́ːh/
  • (Classical) IPA(key): /bʱɑːh/, [bʱɑːhᵅ] invalid IPA characters (ᵅ) because it would be valid for just classical sanskrit.

Same goes for वनस् (vanas) (and every s-stem noun in fact). Since i see you're working on Module:sa-pronunc, I would like to know your thoughts on this, @JohnC5, Aryamanarora. - madhavpandit (talk) 05:25, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

@माधवपंडित: I've been doing pronunciations for the stem-form, not the nominative singular for all entries... I think there was a discussion about this earlier somewhere. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 13:52, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
@माधवपंडित: This has been discussed multiple times. I think I would prefer the no, though I initially prefered the stem-form. —JohnC5 00:00, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
