Coptic, RFV-sense of the epithets for Greek gods and kings. Is this actually attested? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 09:44, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ptolemy I soter was written in Coptic Records as Ⲡⲧⲟⲗⲉⲙⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲡⲤⲱⲧⲏⲣ. It is also the term that is used for soter epithet of, for example, Zeus or Dionysus. So Zeus Soter is ⲡⲌⲉⲩⲥ ⲡⲤⲱⲧⲏⲣ (Zeus the saviour) and Dionysus Soter as ⲡⲆⲓⲟⲛⲩⲥⲟⲥ ⲡⲤⲱⲧⲏⲣ (Dionysus the saviour) — This unsigned comment was added by ⲁⲡⲟⲗⲗⲟⲇⲱⲣⲟⲥ (talkcontribs).
@ⲁⲡⲟⲗⲗⲟⲇⲱⲣⲟⲥ Do you have some kind of reference for this usage? One each for both a king and for a deity will do. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 09:04, 10 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Lingo Bingo Dingo Yes and No. Yes as in the sources that I would references are sources that I myself have written down but no since they have no basis.
