@Suzukaze-c: Why? It's easily attestable in Google Books --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 09:57, 1 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Atitarev: Many of the results on the first page are bizarre scannos, one of them is お<br>伽話, and three of them are お伽話. —suzukaze (tc) 10:00, 1 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Suzukaze-c: There are many others, good ones. What is wrong with "このような共通のイメージを考えるとき、昔から伝わっているお伽伽話の中には、そのままの形で出ているからです。" ? They all appear on the first page of the search. The term itself, I've taken from Webblio.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 13:19, 1 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
The OCR is unreliable. Did you open the links themselves? —suzukaze (tc) 21:26, 1 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

[1] and [2] appear to have uses of 伽話, but as 伽話(おとぎばなし) (otogibanashi), not 伽話(とぎばなし) (togibanashi). —suzukaze (tc) 21:26, 1 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

@TAKASUGI_Shinji: Are you able to provide citations for the term, please? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:33, 23 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Personally I have never heard of とぎばなし. おとぎばなし is composed of おとぎ and はなし, not お and とぎばなし. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 12:43, 23 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@TAKASUGI_Shinji: Thanks, what should we do? Is "おとぎばなし is a valid reading for 伽話? If not, what is the kanji form? おとぎ話 seems very common. Do 御伽(おとぎ) (otogi) and (とぎ) (otogi) exist and are they related to the term? E-Dic also has (とぎ)(くに) (otoginokuni, fairyland), which is also difficult to confirm. --Anatoli T. 伽話 seems to be a rare spelling of おとぎばなし. I would delete とぎばなし because it is not attested. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 13:08, 23 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

伽話: RFV passed. とぎばなし: RFV failed. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 23:46, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
