Hmm, potentially, especially if it was translated into Cantonese first. Found two articles: 英语电影片名翻译中汉语传统文化的凸现 and Communication across languages and cultures: A perspective of brand name translation from English to Chinese (article), but they just say 老 = old, lol. I felt Disney characters may have been introduced into Chinese via Shanghainese, for example here /dɑ̃/ = Don. Wyang (talk) 21:43, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
