- A paraphrase is needed since there is no equivalent in English (AFAIK). I note Pleco's definition: "cap with a broad and hard top, referring to someone in charge of some aspect of law enforcement (policeman, inspector, customs officer, etc.); uniform cap; police cap; fireman cap".
