Not a word in Chinese. Not in any dictionaries at my disposal. 委婉 + 說法. Can also be expressed as 委婉講法. ---> Tooironic (talk) 09:44, 29 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Undecided. Reliability of lemmings should be checked. 委婉說法/委婉说法 (wěiwǎn shuōfǎ) means "tactful/polite way of saying". One could also say 婉轉詞語/婉转词语 (wǎnzhuǎn cíyǔ) "tactful/indirect term/expression". Both are fine in an English-Chinese dictionary but may not be as Chinese entries. As Tooironic said, 說法说法 (shuōfǎ) can replaced with the synonymous 講法讲法 (jiǎngfǎ) ("way of saying"). 委婉 (wěiwǎn) can replaced with 詞語词语 (cíyǔ). --Anatoli T. I recommend having a closer look at the example sentences at cn.bing.co[4]; really interesting material. --Dan Polansky (talk) 12:46, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
委婉語委婉语 (wěiwǎnyǔ), on the other hand, is included in major dictionaries and () is never used separately, only as a component. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:45, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
As an aside: are any of these major dictionaries online? Do we have reference templates for them? --Dan Polansky (talk) 12:52, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yesterday I have checked in Wenlin (uses ABC dictionary) and Pleco. Here's an online dictionary MDBG. We need templates for Chinese dictionaries, I'm not sure if there are any.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад)|
