Rfv-sense: "sea turtle". Tagged by @Justinrleung but not listed. RcAlex36 (talk) 16:13, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Seems possible [1] --Geographyinitiative (talk) 16:49, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Geographyinitiative: We already have the sense "Asian giant softshell turtle", so this sense of "sea turtle" doesn't seem to make sense unless we have evidence for both senses. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 09:35, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I am not familiar with the character; I accept this argument for removal of the second definition (sea turtle) if there is no evidence of the second definition. The second definition was added here [2] by a native speaker of Vietnamese. @Erminwin- please add examples for this if you have the time/ability. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 11:28, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Geographyinitiative: Thanks for bringing this up. I got the sea turtle sense from: https://www.mdbg.net/chinese/dictionary?wdqb=%E9%BC%8B, & they didn't provide an example. & I had my doubt as well since at that point in time I'd known that 黿 means only "soft-shelled-turle". I'll delete the "sea turtle" sense. Erminwin (talk) 13:21, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
