Dutch, male given name, short for Daniël. It doesn't ring a bell with me, has fewer than five results on the voornamenbank and searching for "Daas voornaam" mostly gives results for daas (horsefly) and a surname. If it fails, it can be converted to a surname entry; it's unnecessary to delete it. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 20:30, 11 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Lingo Bingo Dingo I have never heard this either. I have only heard of Daan (in case of long a-pronunciation of Daniël) or Dan (in case of short a-) being used as shortenings of Daniël. I am also wondering what the origin could be for the -s in Daas; it looks quite unusual. Morgengave (talk) 10:26, 21 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
