Biased definition[edit]

Privios editor of this article given completely wrong definition for such a brutal terrorist a human nobody cant give any positive definition for them.this author must be get paid from leader of tamil tiger if do keep such a definition.

Maybe the previous editor gave a subjective definition, but the new one is far from neutral either...
The current version (oldid 1333642) seems pretty accurate to me. A Tamil Tiger is a member of a guerilla organisation, regardless of any brutality; the primary stated objective is an independent state in the northeast of Sri Lanka for the Tamil community, regardless of their methods. Any information about their history or actions belongs in the encyclopedic article, not the dictionary definition. // Pathoschild (editor / talk) 05:40, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
a member of a guerilla organization [Everybody can agree with this] seeking the establishment of an independent state in the northeast of Sri Lanka for the Tamil community [not for the tamil community-only for small quantity of terrorist who are supporting terrorism].
LTTE banned in UK , USA , CANADA , INDIA , Europe ,Australia (Processing) ,but according to your definition you r positive for terrorism ,this is you are supporting to misunderstand the world
Um, what do you think guerilla organization means? This is a dictionary with no room for that sort of nonsense. --Connel MacKenzie 06:20, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

This Definition is completely nonsense , cannot support terrorism definitions , this definition violating Sovereign and Independent Republic of Sri Lanka. only thing cannot agree they not seeking the establishment of an independent state in the northeast of Sri Lanka for the Tamil community . because they not represent whole tamil community that is the funniest joke i ever heard. PLEASE REMOVE THIS DEFINITION

this is what world definition ,not your private and get paid definition , dont support terrorism .

a member of a guerilla organization seeking the establishment of seperate state in the northeast of Sri Lanka.

What guerilla organization ever truly represented the group the claimed to? How could they have "Tamil" in their names, if that isn't who they are at least pretending to support? Again: your POV disputes do not belong here, in this dictionary. --Connel MacKenzie 06:45, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
