It's apparently a variant of the given name Hug, which is the Catalan form of Hugo. Even Hug seems to be rare nowadays as the people on the list are mostly medieval, unless Im just not reading it right. I note that they seem to use Hug for the caveman name also. Soap 18:27, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
