The "particle": pronunciation spelling of -ass (“used to intensify an adjective”). Equinox ◑ 12:32, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- We have goofy ahh. Twitter gives countless results for "crazy ahh", "silly ahh", "broke ahh", "grown ahh" etc. Einstein2 (talk) 13:01, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- I don't know exactly what kind of sources we use for this, but the pronunciation and spelling both clearly exist: refer to these Youtube vids Bad ahh bihh, Dumb Ahh Shii*, Dumb Ahh Ho. I'm not sure the /ɑː/ in the entry for goofy ahh is accurate for the pronunciation used in rap: to me it sounds like the final consonant is just elided with no change in the quality of the preceding vowel.--Urszag (talk) 13:08, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- This immediately made me think of how Soulja Boy doesn't finish the final consonant of several words and after listening to the famous song Superman again on YouTube it's easy to see that, as well as saying 'watch' as 'wa', he says "I'm jockin on yo bitch ahh" despite genius.com unhelpfully spelling it 'ass'. It's easy to cite from genius though from other songs, which I'll add to the entry. --Overlordnat1 (talk) 23:53, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
