You know some geology, don't you? What do you think about the undefined sense at avianize? Could it be a typo or error for something else? Equinox 21:01, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Equinox: Seems like an error. I've never seen this word in geology, but it looks like they're referring to the formation of veins, which implies a pretty muddled understanding of English (matching the poor English evident in the second quote). That tracks with the fact that these are both from Chinese sources, and given that they're studying the same subject in the '90s in China, I wouldn't be surprised if they're from the same author (Google won't let me see).
