ballenlikker

Dutch, defined as "an ass-kisser; a suck-up". I think that a meaning "testicle licker" or "homosexual" might be citable, but this probably isn't. ←₰-→ Lingo ^Bingo _Dingo (talk) 13:04, 27 February 2019 (UTC)

I think it is used in the contested sense in this article. In general, finding attestations in durably archived media is not easy for vulgar terms.  --Lambiam 22:58, 27 February 2019 (UTC)

I think that in this case it is an indication that the sense is simply uncommon. Dozens if not hundreds of Dutch vulgarities are very easy to cite in print media (google books:kankerhoer google books:paardenlul google books:kutjebef), though it is true some terms are avoided. ←₰-→ Lingo ^Bingo _Dingo (talk) 08:44, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

I can personally attest that in (at least the primary) schools the term "ballenlikker" means "a suck-up" and is in widespread use. Some non-durably archived quotes: [1]: In de tijd is Mioch ook meer een Hollywood ballenlikker geworden en denkt hij meteen dat hij zelf ook een ster is.; [2]: ik vond jensen altijd wel lauw, maar heb het nu wel gezien, vind hem vaak zelfs een beetje een ballenlikker; [3]: Hou op hoor ouwe ballenlikker. Hamilton heeft de beste auto van het veld en hoeft bijna nooit moeite te doen om een race te winnen, heeft heen tegenstand etc. [4]: Derksen de ballenlikker van nijhuis. [5] : Kijk, mensen als Quadchrazs en Tonnie 1, dat zijn een beetje ballenlikkers van de highstakers. [6]: Jokertje, mooi figuur is dat. Volkse jongen die stukken intelligenter en echter is dan de gemiddelde ballenlikker van RTL. Ik zie liever 10 jokertjes iets doen op tv, dan 1 kooijemans of zo’n talentenjachtwinnaar of soapie.
