Not actually a set term in legalese. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 00:55, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
Delete. Per utramque cavernam (talk) 14:31, 5 March 2018 (UTC)- Abstain. I actually have no idea, I shouldn't vote on that. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 09:14, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. It appears in some law dictionaries. I have added these to citations. John Cross (talk) 18:14, 10 March 2018 (UTC) [typos corrected subsequently.]
- These are mentions, not uses. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 09:14, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: Black's Law Dictionary, 6th has entries for bond for deed and bond for title, as well as general average bond, general mortgage bond, and general obligation bond, but it has no entry for bond for general purposes. Black's Law Dictionary, 2d has an entries for bond for title, but not for bond for general purposes. bd2412 T 19:19, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Addendum: There is a header for bond for general purposes in Webster's New World Law Dictionary, which basically points to general obligation bond. bd2412 T 20:08, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Keep: it is not a sum of parts since you would not know from the parts that it is a government bond. Thanks to bd2412 above for finding the Webster's New World Law Dictionary entry, which has general obligation bond also as a government bond. That said, it may be sent to WT:RFV with the challenge that no uses can be found, only mentions. --Dan Polansky (talk) 18:54, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
- Kept Discussion has been stale for more than a month. Other than the nominator, no one currently advocates deletion, while two people advocate keeping. Purplebackpack89 14:11, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
