cut out[edit]

Sense: To remove or shape by cutting. Cut out the letters and paste them on the poster.

I have added {{&lit}} of which this seems an example. Out seems to be more like an adjunct in this sense. It can be replaced by away with little change in meaning. DCDuring TALK 18:33, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Encarta has 11 senses; we have three. Also, is the adjective sense separate from the verb senses we should have? Is it a true adjective? DCDuring TALK 19:08, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
