Just in Cotgrave's 1611 French dictionary? Notusbutthem (talk) 14:14, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I find exactly three hits for the PPP difficultated in “Early English Books”, 1, 2, 3 – which look correct but one would like to check scans. Interestingly, the quote we use for difficilitate also uses the past passive participle. The lemma form is hard to find due to being the ablative singular of Latin difficultās, and its nom. and acc. pl. is the 3rd person singular present although in earlier English it has -eth and I don’t get hits for this. EEBO is manually typed, not OCR'd like Google Books or Internet Archived, so it is generally free of errors. This, that and the other (talk) 08:53, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
