Dutch, "the act of executing a death penalty". Is this ever used as a noun or even as a verb for that matter? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 19:46, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have taken the participle "gedoodstraft" as it's the most different form, i.e. it's the easiest to find non-false positives for: [1], [2] ("zullen gedoodstraft worden"). Morgengave (talk) 07:39, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Then the entry should be converted to a regular verb instead of a gerund noun. And we should also add a plural for the regular noun doodstraf. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 10:24, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
For any German-language editors reading this thread: I've looked for both todesgestraft and getodesstraft and found only a single blog post [3] for the former and a single Twitter post [4] for the latter. Nothing CFI-compatible. —Mahāgaja · talk 12:54, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Here is an 18th-century use of the verbal noun, where it translates the term capital punishment in the original text.[5]  --Lambiam 14:50, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
That is an incredible find. That said, this can probably better be converted to a normal verb. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 20:08, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
RFV passed with some modifications. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 11:31, 11 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
