I could only find two quotes, and one was in a book of obscure words which did not let me see what the original source was. Kiwima (talk) 19:23, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is a variant spelling of doundrins, which may be more easily citable. Already in 1874, the English Dialect Society considered this an English word, not generally used: [1]. But The Little Book of Lost Words promoted this archaic word as one of “very few treasures that we can ... put into use as if they were brand-new”.  --Lambiam 11:26, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
doundrins gets plenty of mentions, but like so many dialect words, not much in the way of published uses. I only managed to find one. That does give us three quotes if we allow alternate forms. What do people think? Kiwima (talk) 20:19, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Seems fine to me. DTLHS (talk) 21:14, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
