edge[edit]

The edge of a cricket bat.

Pretty obvious it refers to the edge of a cricket bat in context. I've added another cricket sense "A shot where the ball comes off the edge of the bat, often unintentionally" with a Usenet citation, can be cited using Usenet alone providing you accept three apparently unrelated citations from the same group. edge

Rfv-sense noun - rock-climbing. Looks like it might be a verb, but is difficult to check. SemperBlotto 22:20, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Resolved. Wikipedia has this at w:Edging as a noun, so I moved it there. - -sche (discuss) 02:30, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
