This raises the possibility of flummoxing users by making them look up troponym and all the better since they have to type it into the search box. I do believe that "disambiguating" is a means of "elucidating". DCDuring TALK 01:44, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

... but no more so than other synonyms? Explaining, setting out in detail, disambiguating, etc. are all ways in which one can elucidate, but they are not different senses of the word, just examples of clarifying. Dbfirs 12:03, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
