RFD discussion: April–May 2017[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

See the short previous discussion at Wiktionary:Tea_room/2017/April#indeterminate_gender. The definition is wrong; people who are intersex are sometimes described as having indeterminate gender because doctors have not or cannot determine which binary gender/sex they belong to (because they don't belong to either), but the description is SOP and also applies in other cases where gender (using either the "social category" or the "biological category" sense) is indeterminate, see e.g. google books:"of indeterminate gender". The plural is even more obviously SOP (google books:"indeterminate genders"). - -sche (discuss) 22:37, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
