Like hatel, it looks like this didn't survive the parlous journey from ME to ModE given its absence from EEBO, the EDD, and the OED, unless you count a phonetically altered form (mense in this case). Hazarasp (parlement · werkis) 13:39, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

RFV-failed. While there are a handful of cites (on citations page) that extend past 1500, this does look like it died out with Middle English. Kiwima (talk) 09:38, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
