@Fumiko Take Does the noun class "người" exist? Can "người" be considered a classifier? "người nô lệ" seems to be common but not sure if "người" is part of the word (prefix) or just a classifier. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:29, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Atitarev "người" is a classifier for any noun referring to a human being (except "người" itself or "người đàn ông", "người đàn bà", "nhà khoa học", "tác giả" etc. which require no extra classifier). You can only say "một người nô lệ" ("one slave"). "một nô lệ" is simply an awkward translation, by some (I mean a lot of) Vietnamese f***ers who call themselves "translators", of expressions in English or French or something.
@Fumiko Take Thanks. What do you think about Wiktionary:Grease_pit/2016/January#Vietnamese_nouns_without_classifiers? Should bệnh viện get a "cls=-" instead of a classifier or something to be added to Category:Vietnamese nouns not needing classifiers (or similar) instead of Category:Vietnamese nouns without classifiers? --Anatoli T. @Atitarev I think Category:Vietnamese nouns without classifiers can be considered the same as Category:Vietnamese nouns not needing classifiers. If a noun requires a classifier, let's add one. If it doesn't just leave it blank. ばかFumikotalk 03:37, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Fumiko Take Thanks for your opinion but I can't quite agree with this. This hidden category is for problem entries, like entries lacking genders, transliterations, etc., some other problems. "Without" may mean no-one added a proper classifier yet or this particular noun NEVER needs it. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 04:01, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
@AtitarevOh, it's hidden. So let's unhide it, or create a different category, whatever you will. ばかFumikotalk 13:07, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
