definition[edit]

How does pellucid compare with lucid? What is meant by the sentence, "It is pellucidly clear ...," which recently appeared in the case of Warren Katz v. Holland and Knight, case number 10-1119, (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit), "Law 360: The Newswire for Business Lawyers," July 29, 2010? Does this sentence just mean clearly clear? It seems that pellucid implies some emphasis.

That's pellucidly. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:33, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perfervid?![edit]

I fail to see how perfervid is related to pelucid! Anyone care to justify its inclusion? --Mwanner (talk) 22:58, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

They both have per-. It's an etymology relation. Equinox 23:03, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
