Both of these entries list "maiden" as a sense. Can anyone clarify what is meant by that? An unmarried girl? A virgin? A "fair maiden" daydreaming of a knight, of the sort conjured up by the now somewhat dated word "maiden"? - -sche (discuss) 06:02, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
