Needs to cover the tax evasion sense at w:skimming.

 Done ("To steal money from a business before the transaction has been recorded, thus avoiding detection"). However, Green's Newspeak (1984) suggests there is another sense: to use illegally made profits (e.g. drug trade) to fund the setting up of a "front" (legitimate business) to fund future crime.
