rfv of the entire Etymology 3.

Supposedly a blend of sport + fight used in the Australian Defence Force to distinguish sport fighting from combat. With all the uses of the archaic alternative spelling for spite and the surname Spight, it's hard to be sure, but I haven't been able to find anything so far that fits this etymology. Add to that the way this contributor tried to change fight and sport to be compatible with this, and you have all the marks of someone trying to sell a protologism.
