I would expect this term to come across as pejorative (compare the difference between e.g. Christian and Christianist or Islamic and Islamist, black and *blackist, etc), but it's so rare that it's hard to tell. - -sche (discuss) 08:49, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

I've never heard this outside of parodies of anti-trans discourse, but I also wouldn't doubt that it does get used pejoratively. I wouldn't expect people to seriously use transgender as a transitive verb either, but they do. Jan sewi (talk) 17:49, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
