This word isn't really an adjective. It appears sometimes as an adjectival noun, e.g. travel agent, travel plans. Ortonmc 21:13, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Dutch translation incorrect
[edit]"Zich voortplanten" in Dutch is more like... giving birth.

Doublet

- @J3133 Two different deverbals in two different languages: travel (noun) < travel (verb), within English. Travail < Old French travail < travaillier, within French. Nicodene (talk) 04:03, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Nicodene: In that case, shouldn’t the etymology and descendant sections be fixed? However, you removed the doublet from Etymology 1, i.e., the verb, not the deverbal. J3133 (talk) 04:10, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
