Is the apostrophe at the beginning necessary? I suggest ulama. --Volants 07:39, 9 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's a transliteration thing, I read a book on Islam and it used apostrophes a lot in this way. If attestable with these spellings, why not keep them? Mglovesfun (talk) 19:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Plural ulamas

This plural exists for the Islamic sense, but I'm not sure how best to add it, since ulama is listed by us as a plural already. Equinox 23:53, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
