Old Wonderfool entry. Does not seem to be attested in English, although it appears in species names. - -sche (discuss) 00:03, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- It should almost certainly be wherever we put species epithets formed in New Latin, either in a Translingual or Latin L2 section, whatever our ability to attest it in English. DCDuring TALK 01:37, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- AFAICT, the current species epithet as well as the spelling Darwin used is yagouaroundi, but many spellings were used over the past two or more centuries. DCDuring TALK 02:02, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- I've made the entry translingual. Clean up further as needed. - -sche (discuss) 00:39, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
English or Translingual
[edit]@DCDuring you suggested in this discussion that it be translingual, but then changed the entry back from translingual to English, what should be going on here? - TheDaveRoss 19:23, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
- In this edit someone changed it from Translingual to English. You should ask them. DCDuring (talk) 20:54, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
