  • (frequentative suffix) Variants:
    -gat is added to back-vowel words
    hall (to hear) + ‎-gat → ‎hallgat (to listen, to be quiet)
    -get is added to front-vowel words
    beszél (to talk) + ‎-get → ‎beszélget (to chit-chat)
    -ogat is added to back-vowel monosyllabic words
    mos (to wash) + ‎-ogat → ‎mosogat (to do the dishes)
    -eget is added to unrounded front-vowel monosyllabic words
