It's an experimental way to reduce memory usage. It's the expansion of {{character info/new}} and is transcluded on 紅. Otherwise, {{character info/new}} would add quite a bit to the Lua memory load (not that the page doesn't go over the limit anyway). It's transcluded by way of {{character info/subpage}}, which is pretty confusing. Perhaps it would be better to put it at Template:character info/character so it's in a centralized location, or to structure it in some other way. Or maybe this is just a bad idea. There is the additional question of how to update it when Module:character info is changed. Fortunately all the places where I've done this can be found easily. — Eru·tuon 01:57, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
