Needs work. Surely more parameters than this are needed. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:16, 12 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

pftr, impftr

[edit]

Could these parameters be restored and if the opposite form is not transliterated, then the template would transliterate them manually from pf/impf (opposite form)? I also liked the older style more (with em-dash and no brackets). --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 20:28, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I prefer it if the template fits with how other headwords are displayed. We don't normally transliterate inflected forms, not even for Gothic where otherwise I've been very rigorous in transliterating everything (because students generally don't learn the Gothic script). —CodeCat 22:10, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've brought it up on the BP because if we do adopt it, it would make sense to do it for more languages than just Russian. —CodeCat 22:27, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Alternative impf's

[edit]

The template could use alternative imperfectives, similar to perfective forms.

распу́хнуть pf (raspúxnutʹ) - пу́хнуть impf (púxnutʹ) or распуха́ть impf (raspuxátʹ).

BTW, will the "tr=" parameter be available for derived terms for all PoS, e.g. (пе́рвый (pérvyj) - пе́рвого (pérvovo)), where the genitive form would require manual transliteration? --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 23:55, 21 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't have the impf2= parameter already? —CodeCat 23:58, 21 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Oops, sorry, my bad. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 00:13, 22 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

passive?

[edit]

связать/связаться

is it possible to form passive verbs using suffixes other than -сь/-ся? d1g (talk) 12:32, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

There are four ways to make passive constructions:
  1. using the suffixes -сь/-ся:
    Дипломная работа выполняется студентами.
  2. using 3rd person plural (usually without a pronoun):
    Где продают компьютеры?
  3. using the verb быть and a short-form participle:
    Вся информация будет записана секретарём.
  4. In addition, present-passive or past-passive participles can be used:
    Журнал, читаемый студентом.
Журнал, купленный вчера братом, скучный. —Stephen (Talk) 05:59, 19 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
The entry связа́ться (svjazátʹsja) does what's required. The definition #3 is {{passive of|связа́ть|lang=ru}}. I have just fixed the mode.--Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 05:55, 19 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
