Adding the past indefinite form to this template

[edit]

I propose to add the past indefinite form after the past definite form (like gelişmişim after geliştim for the first person singular) as a good idea. What do you think? Sae1962 (talk) 10:40, 27 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Of course, that completely makes sense. I can't spend much time here nowadays, but I was working on a more complicated template. It'd be cool to have your opinions as another speaker of Turkish. I guess I didn't miss a tense, but two heads are better than one. Sinek (talk) 11:33, 27 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
[edit]

What do you think about intelligent links in the template that become active, if the word exist, and remain normal colour otherwise? I added for the verb yaratmak the verb form yaratmaz, which cannot be seen when contemplating the template at yaratmak. Sae1962 (talk) 13:09, 29 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's because only positive declarative forms are linked on the main template itself. Sinek (talk) 20:32, 29 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can this template be used for programlamak?

[edit]

Can this template be used for programlamak? If it can, please document it, as it seems to be non-trivial. Thanks! Sae1962 (talk) 08:32, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Template:tr-conj-v must be used with the verbs ending in a vowel (without the infinitive suffix). See ağlamak for the usage. Sinek (talk) 08:38, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Template for the negative verb forms

[edit]

Each Turkish verb has a negative form, like aşmak and aşmamak, koşmak and koşmamak, içmek and içmemek. It would be nice to have the template expanded such that it can create the conjugation of the negative verb forms. --Sae1962 (talk) 14:37, 30 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Problems with verbs such as gütmek and gitmek

[edit]

In these verbs /t/ must turn into /d/ in continuos and future tense and stay /t/ in past tense, how to obtain both? Thanks --Anylai (talk) 15:52, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I fixed the template

[edit]

User:Betseg/tr-conj-template for the fixed template, User:Betseg/tr-conj-article for examples. (yes, I did merge the vowel template into it). I think a supervised bot can replace all current entries' templates, and add the template to ones that don't have the template, and add the template to irregular verbs' entries? --betseg|g 05:16, 2 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Alternative forms

[edit]

Based on this discussion, I suggested we add alternative forms for the 3rd person plural of the direct past imperfective and of the indirect aorist tenses. What do you think? A455bcd9 (talk) 18:30, 4 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
