Corrections[edit]

Please add Verbal noun as a legal header, and remove Alternative spellings. Thank you. Renard Migrant (talk) 12:55, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can't we just use Noun as the header? —CodeCat 13:06, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea. Renard Migrant (talk) 19:49, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the "verbal noun" headers I've seen have been in Celtic entries. When I mentioned that midway through this thread, Angr said "Embryomistic and I have generally been trying to include Irish verbal nouns under ===Noun=== headings rather than separate headings, but there's not a lot of consistency yet." I don't know if there are any languages whose editors do want "verbal noun" as a separate part of speech. We could ask in the BP. - -sche (discuss) 20:15, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Arabic verbal nouns has 101 entries. I'm not arguing that verbal noun should be a valid header, merely that it is. Renard Migrant (talk) 16:06, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
A category doesn't have to have its own header, though. —CodeCat 20:09, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
