Welcome

Hi there, great to see another Polish editor join the ranks! Just a quick tip, many Polish words have audio recordings which can be found here: search for 'konfiskata'. These can be added using the a= parameter of the {{pl-p}} template if when you're creating a new entry or you come across one that doesn't have an audio link already. New entries

Glad to see someone adding quotations. I changed the formatting on some - used quote journal/book etc. You might wanna check these out - https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:Citation_templates. Also, on verbs, don't forget to mark them as transitive or intransitive. I went ahead and added the conjugation template for you on zawlec. Also I used the correct etymology template. Finally, if a verb starting with a consonant cluster gets prefixed, you have to spell out the syllables in the pl-p template, like on zawlec. Thanks again. @Vininn126: Wielki słownik języka polskiego lists alternate past and subjunctive forms (zawlekłem or zawlokłem, etc.) for each gender except the masculine personal plural of zawlec. How can these be added to the conjugation template? - LaetusStudiis (talk) 23:07, 22 December 2021 (UTC)

Related vs Derived

Hey, just wanna say your contributions have been really top-notch. One small thing is that -ość verbs are derived from their respective adjectives, so you can enter them as "Derived terms" not related. Thanks! Vininn126 (talk) 19:04, 17 March 2022 (UTC)

Podróżować

The second meaning is "to dye pink a bit". Why would that have anything to do with "droga"? Did you check the word to make sure it made sense to remove? Vininn126 (talk) 06:58, 7 April 2022 (UTC)

A few pointers

1) give a white space between the headword and first definition 2) Imperfectives are 99% of the time suffixed with -ać, or at least by surface analysis are. Careful not to confused it with -wać, however. 3) Audio files can be found on the commons.

Definition lines

Hey, you should check out the Wiktionary style guide. You really should stop giving those lengthy, sentence like definitions. Those are glosses. You should give shorter definition lines, a few words tops. Vininn126 (talk) 07:58, 14 July 2022 (UTC)

Collocaitons

I wanted to do this in the edit mentioned cause it's so small but my fat fingers hit enter before I wanted. Collocations should not be full sentences and instead use base forms when possible. Usex's on the other hand will be full sentences. Vininn126 (talk) 08:53, 27 September 2022 (UTC)

Doroszewski quotes

Heads up, I'm about to make your life a lot easier. I'm working on a big project where you'll be able to use the same abbreviations of quotes from other dictionaries, namely Doroszewski's, Linde's, and SXVI and SXVII, so you can continue to add them as normal for now. "The Cathedral"

You added "working against the interests of the nation or people" under Etymology 3 of "The Cathedral", I think in fact, they hate the Cathedral because it acts in the *interests* of the rabble, and they generally seem to think "the nation" should be broken up into tech monarchist city states. The definition is already too long anyway, so is it alright with you if we replace "and working against the interests..." with just "and therefore harmful", as in, it's leftist and therefore bad for "order" and "culture" and so on.
