I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --EncycloPetey 21:23, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Surely this isn't always capitalized as the entry suggests? Wiktionary is case-sensitive, so words should be on a page with the correct spelling and capitalization. --EncycloPetey 21:23, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have "Move"d the entry to prosoponology. New users don't have this option initially, but once you've been around for a while, a new tab appears at the top of a page allowing a move, for situations like this. --EncycloPetey 22:06, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
I disagree with categorization of terms such as granulometry in this category. This isn't the name of a rock or even a type of rock. DTLHS (talk) 01:58, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know your disagreement! I put the word in the category because its definition includes measuring mineral grain sizes in sedimentary rocks. Grain size is used to classify sedimentary rocks! --Marshallsumter (talk) 02:15, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Better categories for the term would be Category:Petrology or Category:Mineralogy. DCDuring (talk) 17:40, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
- granulometry's currently not in Category:Rocks but in Category:Geology. I agree that Category:Petrology would be better than the much more general category of geology. If that's okay I can change it. --Marshallsumter (talk) 17:47, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
- Better categories for the term would be Category:Petrology or Category:Mineralogy. DCDuring (talk) 17:40, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
- That’s all because the categorization in the module data is also wrong. It must be in “List of sets” if understood as @DTLHS does on Feb. 2017. I don’t know where the categorization in “List of topics” comes from though. Module:category tree/topic cat/data/Human does not include it. Fay Freak (talk) 19:59, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
