Hi, Scooteristi. I've cleaned up your entry watercraft, to conform to our standard layout.

Here is our standard welcome text with links for newcomers. --Dvortygirl 06:16, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

[edit]

If you wish to assert that your POV is the only possible correct one, you may find little cooperation here.

If you wish to dispute a particular meaning on scooter then add {{rfv-sense}} after the "# " on that line, and add the applicable entry to Wiktionary:Requests for verification.

If you wish to re-vandalize that entry by putting definitions for derived terms on the same page, you may find your block extended.

zune

[edit]

Based on some of your past contributions, I've made the assumption that zune was simply a stab at the new MS mp3 player. Not that I disagree with the definition per se, but disagree with it being promoted by Wiktionary. If I am in error in this, and this word is actually in widespread use, please provide some cites, and I would be more than happy to reinstate it. If I was not mistaken, please do not continue to add such words. Thanks. Atelaes 03:50, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your format is a bit "Wikipedian", for citations we don't use footnotes like Wikipedia does. We avoid them as much as possible (or every editor I can think of does). Mglovesfun (talk) 21:13, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. "Related terms" is for words that are etymologically related. If they're just words to do with the same theme, please use "See also". Equinox 13:41, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

You wrote: "If you see something wrong then either fix it (preferable), note what you saw that was wrong, or keep your mouth shut." I did note what was wrong, in order to stop you making more errors of the same kind in future. Either learn, or stop making that mistake. Otherwise I will block you. We don't need aggressive, confrontational idiots doing damage. Equinox 04:00, 24 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

{{astronomy|meteorology}}

[edit]

There are templates like the one on the title that give the entry a link to a category that's on a specific topic. How about using somthing like that? --Lo Ximiendo 09:51, 24 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

You made such a mess of the page, I couldn't salvage it and had to revert. Mglovesfun (talk) 08:39, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your most recent edit to scooter has been reverted as vandalism, spam or for being unacceptable for any of various other reasons. Please desist, or else you may be blocked. Mglovesfun (talk) 11:03, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
