- IPA(key): /ˈzɑu̯.təˌlɑn.də/ (incorrect but frequently used)

Proper noun[edit]

Usage notes[edit]
The correct pronunciation of the toponym involves pronouncing the first element as zoet. Outside of Zeeland, the first element is often incorrectly pronounced as zout.
