From Ancient Greek βιβλίον (biblíon, “small book”) + -λογία (-logía, “branch of study”); see biblio- + -logy.

bibliology (usually uncountable, plural bibliologies)
- The study of the history of books and the art of printing.
- The study of biblical literature, or theology.
