bisht
Albanian
Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *būšta, from Proto-Indo-European *bʰuH- (“to grow”) (compare English bush, Greek φύση (fýsi, “nature”), Armenian բույս (buys, “plant”)). Others, however, argue for a borrowing from a pre-Indo-European substratum, drawing parallels to Basque bustan and Romanian buştean.[1][2]
