  1. (ecclesiastical) The sacrament of applying chrism to complete baptism in the Orthodox and Eastern Catholic churches.
    The Church opposed burning people who had received the myron of chrismation in the baptism ritual.
  2. (ecclesiastical) In general, the act of applying chrism, or consecrated oil.
