Silesian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]First attested in 1875, with the meaning of penis, in a court document concerning a dispute in Staniszcze Małe. Source uncertain, Malinowski (1892) suggests a common origin with Czech culík (“pigtail”), with other writers deriving the word from Polish ciułać (“to scrimp”) which is unlikely.[1] Possibly a deverbal from ciulać (“to piss”).
