Silesian

Etymology

[edit]

First attested in 1875, with the meaning of penis, in a court document concerning a dispute in Staniszcze Małe. Source uncertain, Malinowski (1892) suggests a common origin with Czech culík (pigtail), with other writers deriving the word from Polish ciułać (to scrimp) which is unlikely.[1] Possibly a deverbal from ciulać (to piss).
