The hierarchy of vulgarities in Polish is as follows:
- jebać, chuj, pizda, kurwa, cipa are the most vulgar words. This transfers to derived terms, with the exception of pizda.
- pierdolić, srać, gówno, rzygać are in the second tier.
- dupa and derived terms are milder vulgarisms, usually acceptable in family settings but not in formal contexts.
