(mineralogy) A rare lithium–iron amphibole in the holmquistite group with a monoclinic (clinopyroxene-like) structure. It forms in high-grade metamorphic and lithium-rich pegmatitic rocks and is characterized by significant substitution of ferrous (Fe²⁺) and ferric (Fe³⁺) iron within its crystal structure.
