Etymology[edit]
Inherited from Ottoman Turkish دارغینلق (dargınlıḳ, “anger, rage, fury”),[1] from دارغین (dargın, “angry, roth, passionate, irritable”), from دار (dar, “narrow, tight”), from Proto-Turkic *tār (“narrow”),[2][3] morphologically dar + -gın + -lık.

- The state of being resentful or cross at someone.
