[edit]Inherited from Ottoman Turkish گوگس گوگسه (göğüs göğüse),[1] from گوگس (göks, gögs, göğüs),[2] equivalent to göğüs (“chest, breast”) + göğüs + -e (dative suffix), literally “chest to chest”.
