Finnish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Finnic *kërsa (compare Võro kõrźo), possibly borrowed from Proto-Germanic [Term?] (compare Old Norse kjarr (“copsewood”)). The meaning "kid, child, brat" would in this case be a re-extraction from kersalapsi (“bastard, illegitimate child”, literally “a child conceived/born in the bushes”).

- Rhymes: -ersɑ
- Syllabification(key): ker‧sa
- Hyphenation(key): ker‧sa

[edit]kersa (colloquial)
- (possibly derogatory) kid, child, brat
