[edit]metroscope (plural metroscopes)
- (medicine, historical) A modification of the stethoscope, for directly auscultating the uterine souffles (not the dessert) during pregnancy. One part is inserted into the vagina, and the other into the ear.
- Any of various other measuring devices, such as for thickness.
